The 2018 Harvest Festival hasn't even opened to the public yet and I am already pleased to share my first video from there! Kindest thanks to all the supporters and viewers who have enjoyed last year's video -- this one's for you!
In this video we transform the ECHOES HO Scale Model Train layout into the Jacksonville terminal, with CSX and Norfolk Southern trains interchanging intermodal to FEC. Add the intraline block ramped in Bowden, and we have ourselves a train! Train 101 is then shown with the Florida East Coast Liquid Natural Gas tender and the full train.
The gory detail of the interchange handoff adds an operational aspect to a layout equipped for point to point running.
My new Athearn Genesis Union Pacific C45ACCTE makes an appearance in this one. I may post a review of it. The new Florida East Coast Effra containers also appear.
