H thanks very much for watching. We haven't made a dedicated video for Spain and France although these items are contained within a few videos. In short France is the problem - There are tags that you can get from Spain and Portugal via T is the name which work well . France is a peculiar set up , over 3.5T is charged at a higher rate unlike Spain and Portugal who do it on axles. ( Up to three is all category one). Back to France , I wouldn't advise getting a tag for France as if you press the button and tell them you are a Camping Car they usually let you through as a Cat 1 vehicle. It's as if they didn't mean to catch the motorhomes in the over 3.5T category, it' quite a lot more. The alternative in France is not to use Toll Roads as they have good quality A class roads. Good afternoon and thanks for watching our video we really appreciate it. The best way to tackle the funds issue if you have an idea of distance you intend to cover , mention it to the cashier in the service area and they'll tell you how much you need to put on the box via your credit card. The box operates with the series of bleeps as you move along , one bleep and you know you have plenty of funds on the box , two bleeps warns you that you should consider topping up but no immediate rush , 3 beeps means you are about to run out and four means go no further. This link will take you to a map with the service stations on, they are frequent and the box can be returned to any outlet on the way out of country.
