As a 27-year-old 😅 I relate with almost everything you have said, but the work is yet to be done on my part. Spending on and sacrificing for other people comes a lot easier for me, and for whatever reason, it gives me more fulfilment than doing it for myself... I will definitely work on balancing the two lest I end up old and resentful for not priotizing myself. Second, I lost a friend of 10 years this year, the whole process was just uncomfortable and painful. I came across a video that was talking about honouring friendships and how God expects us to honour friends even when there's a fall out or the friendship ends. God helped me see that I did honour that friendship till the very end, and even now his reminding me that i was willing to braid water just to keep it going 😂😂. That gave me peace to finally let it go because truly there was nothing left it had served its purpose and I honoured it and will continue to honour it
