The presenter/host of this entire concert told as introduction to this set, that the musicians back in the days had a tendency to call in sick when they heard the day's menu was Tom and Jerry. This because the music was/is so complex and hard to play😂

Just a little note: the "DR" is an abbreviation for Danmarks Radio, our national broadcaster. Apart from producing content for TV, they also run the National Symphony Orchestra (DR Symfoniorkestret) and the Big Band mentioned here, among others. No doctors involved! 😊

They are on another level with the compositions they present to the public, not your regular Orchestra.
