uh no the violinist played *a lot* of wrong notes and clearly struggled with the speed im highly suspicious they slowed down the piece just so the violinist could play the solo (and still mess it up) too

Seems like they privileged accuracy and resigned a little of the emotion that speed gives. On the other hand, Ray, Sting and the band played as is on the VGA short after the show was released and if you pay attention, Sting had some trouble with tuning (the melody is tricky and he's a pretty old singer) and Ray made a couple of mistakes in his solo (insanely difficult). So I think was a wise choice to play it live a little bit slower to grant the musicians some more fluidity.

Season 2 drops this year, LETS GO, Arcane is seriously one of the very best series ever made. If Riot continues to put their Universe to the big screen, it's easily gonna be one of the best cinematic universes ever. The lore and stories are so great for a game, that doesn't really need deep lore, but when nerds gets creative and passionate, expect greatness. This was an amazing rendition.
