Here’s a fun fact: the intro of the game is directly taken from the beginning of the short “Heavenly Puss” that came out in 1949. But when Tom got put into the underworld, instead of being left to be cooked, it turns out the whole short is a dream in the original short. Which is cool

The idea that Tom had a nightmare that he was going to hell for what he did to Jerry is in of itself hilarious, especially since after he wakes up he kisses the mouse. There are times you get the feeling something more is going on with those two.

Oh man, this game was buried DEEP in my memories. I just thought of it today while getting high. Man, this was like one of the first games I ever had. I can even remember not understanding any of the text/words cause I was so young... And I kept failing at the first level cause I was a kid and sucked. Eventually tho I was able to solo the game in one sitting. Now I play fighting games which require split second timing. Man have I come a long way (Not to brag or anything). I'm only in my twenties but I already feel like a relic
