Putting missing children on milk cartons was actually very effective at helping to find lost or kidnapped children at first. but over time became less and less effective due to various problems. they eventually switched to alternate means like small ad spaces in the corners of magazines and newspapers, or other types of media that are mailed out to people. The reason they originally chose milk was because of how ubiquitous the product was. It was so common that most people would at least see milk cartons even if they didn't buy them. its shorter shelf also meant the product would need to be replaced often, enabling pictures on the cartons to be updated more frequently and on a more regular basis than on other products.

I watched this a ton as a kid! I cannot explain why. For whatever reason this was one of those films that stuck with me. I can still sing some of the songs (Two of a Kind, Money). My family still references this movie in conversation, like if we're trying to explain that how fat something is/is getting we'll say it's going to need a skateboard to get around like the Tom and Jerry dog.

I was 4 when this came out, someone put this movie on to keep me quiet and entertained. Story goes I got up and shut it off, when asked why I explained "because they talked". That's it, that's my experience with this movie. Forgot it existed until now.

I'm actually glad you guys decide to pick this movie rather than the actual new Tom and Jerry movie which I have no interest to see it. So I remember watch this movie on VHS, I loved the original Tom and Jerry cartoons but I thought this movie was pretty good but when years later when I was little bit older I realized this movie sucks because Tom and Jerry talked and then out of nowhere there's a plot about a orphan girl runs away and find her dad who looks like Burt Reynolds/Indiana Jones.
