What a guy. That quote about being one of the few people on the planet to genuinely live their dream was really cool to hear. Hope we can crown him as the Undisputed soon, it's just so obvious he's likely the greatest fighter in the world right now at heavyweight. They need to do right by this guy, he really could be the new face of MMA. Great personality, exciting fighter and wants to be a very active champ. Also, even though it probably won't happen (or maybe even can't with getting it sanctioned), that tournament idea would go down as one of the most hype cards ever.

He’s getting better on the mic, he’s gotten more personable and comfortable in his own personality, and he’s undeniably one of the best fighters on the roster. I described two fighters and I believe they’re on a collision course. Aspinal and Pereira makes so much sense. Aspinal is the people’s champ, interim champ - but he’s not the “champ” - that’s perfect for the UFC because should he actually lose Jones retains his champ status without ever losing to Aspinal, and if Aspinal beats Periera he just goes back to demolishing 205. It’s a win win for the UFC

The only way I see Tom losing is getting kicked in the head cause that's his only opening but how many heavyweights can even throw a head kick let alone it actually being effective a younger jon could set him up alex could too and like it or not ciryl gane could too but I think Tom is so good he'd make those adjustments in those rare circumstances where he would be at risk to null and void that.

Tom is the best HW I've ever seen in the UFC and I've been watching since day 1. He's easily the most dominant. Power, speed, technique. The guy has it all. That "loss" against Blaydes shouldn't be recorded as a loss. It should have been a no contest due to freak injury. Curtis didn't TKO Tom, the ref stopped it due to Tom's knee blowing out.

The reason I said he's a unique heavyweight is because he's the total package, he's 6ft5 and for most of his matches he weighs 260 except his last one he lost 10 pounds. He's got great speed, agility, footwork, fight IQ, he's a very high level striker overall with ko/tko power and he's a very high level grappler/wrestler with submission abilities but he rarely has to show it because he's finishes the fight in the standups and very early too.
