You continue to amaze us Britt, the less "stuff" you have the happier you are and it is very inspiring. I'm down to a 45 liter bag from my old 1200 sq ft place and I love it!!! xoxo

funny video. i am not sure what size my daily backpack is, but i do know it is too BIG. i like eaglecreek bags, but will check out this one you have again because I need a smaller daily pack. inserts sort of encourage organized junk.

I've been following yourself and Connor for some time now, since I originally found a backpacking video of his. It's great to have found people with a similar mindset. I have been constantly downgrading my size and recently travelled Asia for 3 months with an eBag Motherlode Weekend Convertible which I found to be too big. I've been looking at the Synapse for some time now and I'm about to pull the trigger on either this or the 25 but it's hard to tell which to get! I'm in the UK so shipping is beastly and returns would not be ideal, but I think I'm leaning towards the 19!

I love that pack! I think I told you that already, lol...... besides being small, I like the smoothness, less things to get snagged up on!! Yesterday my nephew and I were shopping and something snagged my braided hair, I was caught, he had to untangle me. Yup, I'm a walking disaster!!! ;b Rock on!!

+Gevedon Yes! It's an amazing pack. I love that we share this love for it :). hahaha, that's really amusing. I'm glad he was there to untangle you! Keep on rocking, my friend!

this is sooooo inspiring! :) I am actually already thinking of the bag I am gonna get for an upcoming trip (which won't be any time soon haha!). so this has been very helpful! I am so surprised how much stuff fits in there and how little you actually need, just incredible! :)

You could cut your cutting board thing and maybe keep it inside your computer or inside your notebook to make sure it dont bend. So inspiring YET AGAIN Brittany lol. Im down to a medium suitcase that holds all my memorbilia, a large military backpack and a large suitcase. I hope I can get down to where you are. How often do you do laundry and are your pj's just "normal" clothes?
@BrittanySTaylor9 жыл бұрын
+Fifties Fatimah Yes, such a good idea! I have it in between the back of my bag and my computer, so it creates a nice hard "case". Wow, just those 3 bags- that's impressive! Seriously, badass. I do laundry probably about once every 10 days on average. My pjs are a pair of boy-short-underwear and a loose fitting tank top.

I've been looking for a lightweight, warm sleeping bag. What's the one you showed in this video?
@BrittanySTaylor8 жыл бұрын
Thanks for asking! I think this is the REI Travel down, it's a 45+ degree bag. I'm not sure if they make it exactly like this anymore, but something similar I'm sure!

Do you worry about people stealing something from your backpack in crowded places? I'm usually a little paranoid about keeping valuables in outside pockets.
@BrittanySTaylor9 жыл бұрын
+Roslyn Monahan Thanks for reaching out and sharing your concerns here. This isn't really on my radar. I feel like I'm aware of who is around me and what's going on in general, but I've never had anything come up with people taking things out of my bag.

I love that backpack! Question. I live in the UK right now and was thinking how I could possibly live out of a pack that small. Do you think ppl living in colder climates would need a bigger pack? Since its FREEZZINNGG here right now lol I would need heavier thicker clothes and that would take up too much space in my pack... :-(
@BrittanySTaylor9 жыл бұрын
+Breanda Crump Yes, this backpack is awesome! Good question. I think it would be helpful to have a bit more space for clothes and you would maybe even want to go up to the 25L Synapse. However, I think if I were going to live in a cold climate I'd invest in a pair of leggings, socks, a long sleeved shirt and a jacket that were all good quality, made of a warm, yet thin-ish material. I know there are some awesome options out there that fit into this category. I have tried some out and been surprised how warm they keep me with such little bulk. Actually, the long sleeved shirts and leggings I have tried like this take up even less space than my current leggings and shirt. If the jacket was the only bulky item and you were always wearing it, it may be possible to get away with the 19L. Just feeling it all out. I'd be curious to see what works for you! Thanks so much for your interest and for reaching out!

How are you handling laundry?
@BrittanySTaylor8 жыл бұрын
+LoneWolf8773 Thanks for asking! I wash it in different places, depending on where I am. Laundry mat, air bnb, in the sink, etc. Lots of options.
@ZoeBios1218 жыл бұрын
+Brittany Taylor Sounds like a flexible plan. I washed clothes in a ziplock bag for a few months (sink was nasty) but I found that laundry detergent got out stuff better than Dr. Bronners: what do you do? Do you also use Dr. Bronners for the large loads? That would burn out your 2oz supply quickly: how do you resupply? Is it really that readily available or is it given where you shop (healthy organic food places)?

hey what sleeping bag is that? i need a sleeping bag that i can sleep in in europe (summer time) that docent take up much space :)
@BrittanySTaylor9 жыл бұрын
+Johanna Osk I got it at REI some time ago- I believe it's the travel down. I also know of people who really enjoy this bag for slightly warmer weather and it gets just as small: Naturehike Envelope sleeping bag: kzbin.info/www/bejne/opLbmH15jtOioJI, which is much less expensive. Definitely doesn't keep you as warm, though. All the best to you on your travels in Europe!

I guess she doesn't know backpacks come in different sizes for different torso lengths. In addition women specific packs often come in colors most men wouldn't be attracted to.
