I don't think people realize how many of us Patriots fans have followed Brady to Tampa... And now have chosen to be fans of the Bucs and watch the Bucs first until Brady retires... And I was a fan before Brady my parents had season tickets since the 70s... I went to every single game in the 96 season when they went to the Super Bowl and lost to Green Bay... and yet I still have chosen to watch Brady first and foremost... a lot of it has to do with how he was pushed out and the propaganda machine made it seem like it was his choice to leave... even though he had begged for multiple years for a contract extension... he only left when he realized that extension would never come... And that he would be on the brink of being released or let go every season from then on... in his demands weren't outrageous all he wanted was a two-year 50 million dollar contract the same contract that Drew Brees signed... it's like an analogy... Picture two people in a car driving and they drive around for a long time and you want to keep going on the ride but your friend keeps driving by your house and slowing down... Circles the block and drives by again parks in front of your house and then stares at you.. all you can do is realize that they don't want you around anymore and it's time to get out so even though you are the one who got out it's clear that they wanted you to leave
@ribeastie64793 жыл бұрын
I didn't have season tickets but I was a Patriots fan ever since I started watching football so probably 45 years, maybe more. I'm a huge Brady fan so I will root for Brady until he hangs up his cleats and will always defend Brady when needed. I can't tell you how many hours I spent day and night defending Brady to chuckleheads during deflategate. BB is imho the greatest football mind and gets the most out of the players he works with but he knew better than anyone else what Brady can do and he failed Brady by not giving him anyone to work with in the last year of his contact. Brady deserved the right to retire a Patriot! I just hope when he hangs it up he decides to retire a Patriot and Kraft does the right thing. I also hope they are building a monument to Brady because he deserves that too!!! I hope Brady and the Bucs 3peat and are the 1st team to win 3 Super Bowls in a row! That will shut up all the naysayers. LFG!

Great video...love to hear the good things said...and its so true adversity is what builds character....lets you see what you are made of....i understand brady when he said" if he had been a 1rst round pick he would not still be playing"...he is saying that when you believe you are all that you lose your edge... the edge is the fight...there was a story i want to say it was said by one of the early authors of the pats dynasty...they said bb use to go to brady at the start of weekly practices and tell brady he had until friday to make the roster as the starting qb and this was at the time like 10 years in ...said was done every single week...i dont think brady ever thought he was the hands down starter in NE...EVER
@ribeastie64793 жыл бұрын
It's possible BB did that to motivate Brady. If true though, and BB put Brady through that torture, I hope Brady and the Bucs beat the crap out of the Pats every game they play against Brady (and I've been a Pat's fan for 45 years). I'm a Brady fan for life! Go Bucs LFG!

thanks V :) i think a lot of the bill's coaching style towards brady was to help improve him. from the outside it seems sadistic and mean. but i think bill just thought it was the best way to get the best out of brady. it certainly wouldn't have been pleasant for tom, but i have no doubt it made him better. tom has paid every price imaginable. it's painful to think how much he's endured. but i guess that's why he's so mentally tough.

It is interesting to me because Tom and Peyton have been my favorite QBs and I thought that it was odd that I am so much more attracted to the pocket passer QBs but it is that you can always see their brains working.
@Sue_V3 жыл бұрын
Yep, my 2 favorite QB's also. I get the excitement of mobile guys like Lamar, but more often than not, Guys like that are one injury away from pretty much being done. We all saw what happened to RG3. Or if teams defend it well and force them to stay in the pocket, they don't have the ability to be consistent enough with the passing game, and just pic teams apart. Mahomes and Wilson are the exceptions. They are mobile but can also make the throws. But watching Tom or Peyton is/was always a treat. They won with their minds as much as their arms. Reading the defense before the ball was snapped. These guys proved that you can be a statue and still win in this league. Their pocket awareness is off the charts. Sadly the statue on my Vikings has all the arm talent, but his pocket presence and other intangibles suck.

@@TBDtribute Exactly. I compare how Tom and Peyton were both "Comeback Kids" and I know that Patrick Mahomes also has had comebacks but watching both Peyton and Tom felt so much more like watching a Master at something versus a person with talent. When Peyton describes looking at Tom for a distance and knowing that Tom has to be doing the same process. I want to shout, "Exactly!" and that is what I see in both men. Man oh man, ESPN hasn't figured that out yet.
@wishingb58593 жыл бұрын
@@TBDtribute Von Allen sports analyzed the same distance passes how they appear from Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes and what the announcers say. They "miss" Tom Brady's deep passes because he is so efficient at his mechanics and they way, "Wow, we have never seen anything like this" with Patrick's pass of the same speed and distance because he is running all around and passing it like it was a baseball. Decades ago, I was in Hollywood and I remember talking with people about editing and the absolute best editing, nobody notices at all because it is so invisible that people get the full impact of the story, rather than saying to themselves, "Wow, look at that editing."
@wishingb58593 жыл бұрын
@@TBDtribute I just remembered, with Patrick, they look at his arm swing and say, "Look at the torque on that pass" and with Tom, he does such a pure mechanics that only someone who appreciates the mastery of mechanics will even notice it at all and the ESPN announcers talk about the mastery of the receivers instead of Tom, year after year after year.

@@jamiewcox74 hey mate, yes i'm 100% true blue fair dinkum aussie :)) i haven't been watching nfl football long. i got into it after seeing a youtube clip saying tom brady was the biggest steal in sports draft history. i had never heard of brady and i'm a huge sports fan, so i thought it was a joke. cause i thought if he's so good, how on earth haven't i heard of him. so i researched brady, and watching brady 6 documentary really got me. that's when i started watching nfl football. i became obsessed. i saw how strategic, fast, powerful, violent, competitive, skillful gridiron was. and ever since then it's become my favourite sport. that's saying a lot cause rugby is huge in Australia. also there's a huge perception that gridiron is soft cause of the helmets and padding. and that's probably why most aussies won't watch it. but i think if nfl promoted the game here and us aussies see how big the hits are and how fast and violent it is, and the strategies involved. it would take off like fire in Australia.

"Experience is the best teacher, and a fool shall learn by no other." - Anonymous The beauty of Brady is that he's trailblazing, so he has no choice but to learn from experience in some ways, but he also learned from those that came before and his contemporaries. When I see Pat Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers regularly check down and run a somewhat balanced offense, I believe they are serious about winning championships. Until then, they can suffer under the delusions of a Messiah Complex and play hero ball, but Brady will keep piling on ringsssssss...
