@@kennethcrosby9600 Montana was on a pre-salary cap team. The teams that could be built before the salary cap were insanely talented compared to their competition. Also, when Montana played when the NFC won 13 straight Super Bowls and many of them were blowouts. The AFC was absolute trash in the 80s and early 90s, so once an NFC team got there it was almost an automatic win. These were the Super Bowl scores in that time period. 38-16, 46-10, 39-20, 42-10, 20-16, 55-10, 20-19, 37-24, 52-17, 30-13, 49-26, 27-17, 35-21. Only two Super Bowls in the 13 game stretch were even close. The NFC Championship game in Montana's time was the Super Bowl, because the winner of that won the Super Bowl.

Yep 100% right. Media and regular fans only look at the crazy top plays without realizing the game is won before you snap it. Ever realize that Mahomes hardly/never audibles, calls blitzes, etc.? When they got punched in the mouth they had no adjustments and their young qb was exactly that...a young qb with elite talent but not able to adapt to beat the same cover 2 man all game long. Brady was prepared, while the others guys arrogantly doubted the Bucs.

I think most people want the confetti, the ring, the trophy. And I think Brady likes those things too. BUT I think actually enjoys his pre-season prep. He likes working out, getting/staying in shape, watching films for 6 hours a day, eating well, getting rest ... basically, being disciplined. He loves it all. He loves doing all of the work, and the championships necessarily follow.

..and Tom didn’t just win a super bowl as Acho said, he won a very difficult super bowl. Sure he had a home field advantage, but his team was the underdog and he was facing the reigning Champions who all of the media thought were going to repeat against the best QB in the NFL. Everything and everyone were against the Buccaneers, yet Tom still helped get that team in sync and come to together as champions, totally shutting out one of the highest scoring offenses and ABs in the game today. No TDs for KC, yet Tom found the end zone three times and playoff Lenny scored the fourth YD to cap off a brilliant post season for Fournette. Tampa had all of the offense that night and Mahomes spent the entire night running for his life. They said he ran like 4009 yard laterally trying to escape the Tampa rush, yet Tampa ran very few blitzes. Their front three were able to get that pressure with some help from the LB that didn’t drop into coverage. JPP, Shaq Barrett, Ndamukong Suh and Veta Vea
