Both are STELLAR drummers, no doubt. Just to clarify the chronology/timeline for you Tom was already the "steady" drummer of Chick's from 1978 thru 1983. After this period, Chick did "use" Tom numerous times on a "project/tour" basis until the end. Dave started to play with Chick in the "Elektric Band in 1985 , as well as the "Akoustic Band for many years/decades. But, if you say "Weckl's brother", then Tom would be the "ELDER" brother... 😊 Even by birth, Tom is 3 years older. 😊
