Great job Martin with the questions! Tom, thank you for not masking the honest truth. As someone who as been through two divorces - one with a child, and in the rooms of AA since 2003 (grateful), this hit home. I love it all. It's a lovely path this record and all the way down to the cover art - design, and live presentations, it all works so wonderfully. Thank you. Great interview and questions. I don't observe TC to be morbid at all- more that he has reached an awareness has grown and become elightened about his life, having lived his journey so far. It is courageous to be that open and honest, to reflect and share. Life is about one day at a time, but everyones experience is different x:)

I cycle everywhere because I don't drive yet staff at the office take their car to work, none of them work or cycle except one guy but only like once a week. Yet I don't care or think much about climate change, whereas I suppose most of the folk in the office will assume climate change. Tell people to cycle or walk more if climate change is so very important. Otherwise people will just continue to drive absolutely everywhere.

Tom's a bit morbid when he's talking about how he feels it is depressing to be halfway through his life. I'm 60 and I have always lived for the day. Living in the present. Living in the moment. I have a young outlook. Tom, you're 20 years younger than me. I'm 70 in 10 years. Hard to believe as I am often taken for mid 40s. But all of us only have one day to live. Live in the moment. And stop worrying how old you are. Be grateful for each day, man!

I understand your point, I'm a bit younger than Tom, two young kids too, and I dont feel at any midpoint hahahaha I live life in stages, and I enjoy all of them. But the thing is, he's different from us and his music tells his story. 🙂👍
