I don't know who the interviewer is, but what an amazing job he did! I've been a fan of Keane and Tom for soo long, since I was a teenager and I feel sad to know that he went through all that but I also feel so happy that he's back on his feet and he's doing great. Tom if you ever read this, please know that we are so proud of you, you are part of our lives and we thank you for getting better.

I adore this man. The final track The Wave sung beautifully by Tom rounds this magnificent album wonderfully. I hear him talking about being thrown around amongst the good and the bad yet showing you can still emerge and carry on even through the good and the bad yet still emerge to go forward. As I said I love this man and his honest, straightforward thoughts of the past few years. Wonderful to see him happy and creating more great music with Keane. The journey continues............

Wow what an intimate interview! I just want to throw an arm around Tom. He's adored all over the world. In my opinion there's only 2 singers In my top 3 best male vocalists of all time and that's Barry Manilow & Phil Collins. It's a revealing and enlightening talk and a warming experience to watch Tom Chaplin being such an honest and open person, with us and with himself. It's strange and odd really that he is so remarkably open yet had these dark looming urges to escape and self-destruct - which are almost the polar opposite of his character here. Many people have such internal struggles, perhaps most of us, but I don't know how many have this raw honesty waiting to unfold. An artist thing maybe, an artist must be open to create. But you have to say his therapist really is a miracle worker! So I'd have liked the interviewer to have concluded with more awareness and understanding and sensitivity - he just abruptly says 'thanks for your time' which is very cold after such an exchange. He should have said maybe 'thankyou for your openness and honesty Tom' just to recognise that he's had a very deep exchange with another man's heart and soul. Tom looked a bit lost right after that close and a little dumbstruck which most of us would be, he really deserved the verbal equivalent of a hug. Hopefully they had a real manly hug off camera, nothing wrong with that, it's not a gay thing. Not suggesting there's anything wrong with being gay ofc, I'm not so myself, but my boyfriend is.

Tom es un milagro. Luego de pasar por situaciones tan críticas, renace como ve fénix. Amo su cruda honestidad y entrega a su proceso. Demuestra que la voluntad es el mejor instrumento para sanar confiar en que la vida siempre tiene un camino diferente lleno de luz si estas dispuesto a cambiar. I agree that drug addition is awful, I am out of it myself, never be back to that, it is horrible. life is not always nice or bad, it is not predictable, but drug makes it worst. Therapists , I don't really know, I studied Lacanian psichoanalis a year, but I do not understand myself, I don't think it is possible, one thing I am sure, people looks for isolation when has been hurt, once one can find a way out of the pain then there is no need for isolation or drug. If one has a partner that loves him, well then easy or difficoult, it has to be done, it is not only a reason but a joy :).
