I picked the game up recently, and god was I surprised by the OST... I wasn't expecting something like that at all. It's very atmospheric, relaxing, almost poetic. Really sets a particular tone when you're not in combat. Those short, minimalist tunes that play when you're in the wilderness, doing nothing.... it's funny because they remind me of The Last of Us, a game that uses music in a very similar way.

Just got this game for cheap on a steam sale and holy crap what a fun game. Soundtrack also stood out to me. Very fitting for the tense firefights and wide open wandering spaces of Bolivia. Music always is a such an important part to a game's atmosphere and tone.

"Quiet Morning" and "Broken Bolivia" is what I mostly hear whenever I play the game. Sometimes I'm just hiking through and hear one of these songs come on, I just stop and listen while admiring the landscape.

i so vividly remember nearly everything about this game. I remember watching the trailer and being absolutely blown away by the footage, the music and everything. At that point i was way younger and didnt have that much knowledge about videogames in general and watching the trailer, i thought the game might be split screen which would have been an absolute dream for me because i had some really good friends but i was the only one with a playstation at that point. But even once it released, i was a little disappointed to see that there is no split screen but the gameplay was so damn good that i didnt even care. I played through the whole game on my own which kind of made made me feel lonely at time because of the HUGE open world that there was but i had no one to explore it with. So i kinda just played with myself, made my own stories up once i finished the game and all that. I grew really attached to my AI teammates, especially since there were so many voicelines which would make it more interesting. I also always tried to replicate real life outfits or watch some videos about making some cool outfits. That is and was my favorite part of the game, making your character look as good as possible. But man, the atmosphere in this game is the best i have ever felt in a shooter game. Breakpoints atmosphere was just sadly not as good as wildlands' atmosphere.

The open world aspect, and amazingly relaxing soundtrack make this game VERY weed-friendly. There's nothing like chilling in a helo 600 meters up while smoking to these songs and enjoying the amazing scenery the game has to offer. So peaceful.
