I stumbled upon this premiere on my way home from work in London. I had no idea what it was about but decided to check it out and joined the crowd. Somehow, I ended up near the red carpet. Tom came over to the fans in front of me, signing autographs. I thought I'd give it a shot and shouted, "Tom! Tommy Boy!" To my surprise, he looked up, laughed, leaned in, and shook my hand. Another highlight was seeing Russell Crowe approach a fan who asked for a photo. He cheekily said, "No!" grabbed the bloke's camera, gave him a shoulder hug, and with his arm outstretched, took a selfie of them both. "Now you can take a shot," he said. 😅

Man you just had to be there for this. I remember seeing MI:2 as a little kid with my dad. It was so larver than life and Tom Cruise was the Michael Jordan of the movie culture at the time.

This was the number one ☝️ movie world wide at the box office in 2000, the only mission film to achieve that

😂 WRONG. 3, 4,5,6 and 7 have all opened at number 1 at the box office......

@@Aaliyahchannel2024he meant for the whole year. Yes. The other ones opened at number one for their weekend or perhaps the month or even the season. But the only one that made it to be the highest grossing film of the year was M:I-2

Of all Mission: Impossible movies, this is the only one to be top worldwide grosser of its year (2000). Underrated critically but it definitely made the money it deserved, shame MI3 made less.
