Mr Washington was irritated that he was mentioned and refused to give a speech but he did say “this center isn’t about me, it’s about taking care of heroes.” In my book, Denzel is the GOAT because how you carry yourself when the spotlight isn’t on you is a testament to your character. It is from the box office. Superstar actors like Cruise can sometimes make a deal to be paid a certain percentage of the film's revenue rather than a fixed salary. Sometimes it's a good deal for the star and sometimes it's a good deal for the studio.
