I met Flores at the airport, coming home from a raider game, he was around baggage claim and my mom and I looked at each other and was like, “is that Tom Flores?!” I didn’t want to bother him but my mom convinced me so I went up and said hi and asked for a pic and he stood up out of his wheel chair, I didn’t ask I said he could sit down but he said it was fine, and took a picture with me. It was awesome. Told him he’d be in the HOF soon and 2 years later he got in (:

I was at the legendary SB XVIII - the "Marcus Allen 17 Bob Trey 0" Super Bowl. My friend and I waited outside the chain link fence to see our heroes board the bus. Still remember Art Shell, who was a coach at the time. He was wearing his two other SB Rings. They were brilliant - could see them from 30 yards away. God bless the great Tom Flores. I don't focus on "it took too long". I thank God he received this honor and was able to enjoy with his beautiful, wonderful wife and family. God bless you Tom! and "Just Win Baby!"

I love this man!!! He was an amazing coach and is an amazing human being!!! I grew up with Tom Flores coaching the Raiders. I missed coach Madden by a year, so Mr Flores was the man!!! Tom Flores took the Raiders to two Superbowl wins....he never looked flustered and is part of the legacy Raiders i started supporting 41 years ago. A lovely person and deserving years ago of this honour. God bless Tom Flores. Latterly he was a superb voice on the radio...I'm in the UK and would watch gamepass but would have the Audio feed on and his eyes and mind were so acute and compelling. Go Raaaiiders. X
