I get quite a lot of suede from Tubereuse Nue on my skin and to be honest the combination with tuberose is very unique. Very powerful scent! My favorite tuberose is Serge Lutens Tubereuse Criminale :)

I quite liked Tubereuse Neu. I don’t like very strong, heady tuberose and jasmine scents, so I really appreciated the darkness, edginess added to Tubereuse Neu. Strong and heady white florals give me headaches.

This is my personal favorite of all Tom Fords, it’s the first one I thought “I’d like to have a full bottle”. I also realized that most criticisms you have, not liking the choice of pepper, myrrh vs benzoin (I prefer myrrh) are valid but I am just of differing opinion. Someday, it would be lovely if I could find this for a good price.

I love Tuberose in women's perfumes. I have seen some positive reviews so it can't be that bad, maybe it's a fragrance that will grow on you? I sure hope it will with a massive bottle like that haha!

I recommend sampling Tuberosa Bouquet from the Brazilian House O Boticário, very natural and bright tubereuse. It was built around the floral side of this complex and fascinating note. I am eager to know this Tom Ford release as well as Frédéric Malle 's Carnal Flower.

As a Hula Dancer from Hawaii I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tuberose fragrances. I have several but my favorite that comes closest to the actual flower is FRACAS by Robert Piquet. I’m intrigued by the ones you mentioned, I’m going to seek them all out!! Mahalo for your review and honesty. I like TFord but some I’m completely turned off by their smell. Glad I didn’t blind buy this one 🙏🏼❤️

Greetings from Italy, I just tried today Tubereuse Nue - for me it's all about lots of jasmine and pepper, the name is awkward. I have bought Hauto, Do Son (EDP) and Carnal Flower - these are MUCH better alternatives than Tom Ford's product. P.S. My favourite is Carnal Flower.

Hi Sebastian! I wanted to let you know I returned my TF Tuberose Neu and just received my Diptyque Don Son as recommended in this video and I LOVE IT!!!! It is so beautiful and lovely! I now understand the fragrance profile of tuberose and the dry down on this is Ahmazing! I purchased a sample off of EBay back when people first started posting review vids of in on KZbin but it hasn’t been released yet. I wasn’t sure if my sample is real, but maybe it is. It’s a very strong smell and most of it smells like the leather/suede note in TF White Suede. It’s is mildly sweet and the powdery/creaminess is blended into the suede. It’s really loud. People can smell me a mile away with just one spray from a tiny atomizer. It lasts a long time too. If I wasn’t told that it was tuberose, I’m not sure that would be the floral I’d call it. It doesn’t smell bad, it’s just not naked or soft. I might get a sample that seems a little more legitimate or travel 4 hrs to the nearest counter to see if it is the same fragrance. I’d definitely wear it if I were gifted a bottle, but I would not spend that type of money.

I lived in Venezuela and I remember my mum bought some tubereuse flowers once or twice ... a small bouquet would perfume the whole house, this flowers had such a strong smell it was impossible to stay long in the room where the vase was ! Certainly the strongest smell of all flowers, and to me one of the most mesmerizing. I purchased samples of Hiram Green's fragrances last year (so disappointed he has stopped "dilettante", an orange blossom wich was my absolute favorite) and I'm surprised the beautiful "moon bloom" isn't in your list.

I don't usually enjoy floral fragrances but tubereuse ones are an exception. Great review! I loved when you said it was not naked but had layers and layers of clothes. When you worked at the photo lab, you smelt the ladies wearing Angel. I remember that story. Lol. Thank you for including other options!

Thanks for not being a suck up to the brand. I wish they had balanced the tuberose with “prettier” notes for lack of better word. I’m okay with a little leather but not as premier basenote. I think that some houses are so concerned with being unique that they forget simplicity.

I just tried Tuberose Nue yesterday. I tried it on one arm and tried Le Labo Lys 41 on my other. I could smell some similarities- tuberose and jasmine and I agree Tuberose Nue is not a smooth wear especially when it was starting to dry down. Lys 41 comparatively was a lot smoother on my skin and without that rough smell... may be from the pepper in Tubereose Nue? I passed by the AP Malachite and I regret it so much after watching your video 🥲🥲

Have you tried Amouage Tuberose. I tried it from the headquarters of Amouage in Muscat, Omam. A beautiful piece for women blended with Gardenia, Jasmine, Vanilla, Sandalwood and Cedar.

At the first scent, I didn't like it. So strong and repellent. But after few days, I really enjoyed those weird notes that give this uniqueness to the fragrance. It reminds me indian pastries. Beware, not a typical tuberose, I bought the decanter. So happy.

I really like tuberose, so far my fav are Saks 5 th for her; Narcotic V by Nasomatto and Frederic Malle. This one is more naughty tuberose, not nude. It’s more for the night out. I’m not in love, but I do enjoy this fragrance.

I'm looking forward to any Armani Prive reviews you do, so curious to what your thoughts on them are! Tubéreuse Nue isn't that exciting to me, but I really enjoy the tuberose in TF's Orchid soleil. I have a 10 ml of FM's Carnal flower but it just doesn't seem to vibe with my chemistry. My husband told me I smelled like an old man! Devastated. Going to hang on to it just incase it works some day, I was really looking forward to the melon/coconut/eucalyptus combo with the tuberose. All our department stores are closed at the moment but I really want to try Amarige when everything opens again.

Please review Armani Prive collection. I have fb's of Rouge Malachite and Musc Shamal. Musc Shamal is truly magical and I don't hear many fragrance reviewers talking about it. It's a real hidden gem! Rouge Malachite is tuberose perfection in a bottle for any tuberose lover

Rouge Malachite is said to be similar to Alien Fusion, or along the lines of Alien. I do think it is more complex and natural smelling, and well blended.

It's kind of sad the way the brand is moving since Estee Lauder took over. Look at how hard it is to find older, classic bottles now-these lurid marketing exercises are the future it seems. Almost impossible to find Tobacco Oud or the the Vert series from 2016.

Yes, please! I would like to see more reviews from Armani Prive. I usually don't like tuberose fragrances, I like the flowers, I like jasmines, but I don't enjoy strong tuberose perfumes. From the ones mentioned, I'd only tried Carnal flower, which is too strong for me that it gave me a headache and Do Son, which I didn't mind. The only tuberose fragrance that I really liked was Sabbia Bianca by Profumum Roma.
