To answer your question, yes this is in D.C. We shot the outdoor scenes in Brookland (a neighborhood in NE). The restaurant is a wonderful Cuban place called "Little Ricky's" on 12th near Monroe St. NE. The dance club scenes were shot at Town Danceboutique in NW, and the bed scenes were shot in the same spot as the bed scenes in "Lover" and "It's All Over" (previous videos).

What a glorious video, Tom! :) I'm teaching a section on communities, kinship, and belonging that features Bear community and Bear culture in an LGBTQI and Gender, Sex Characteristic, Sexuality, and Relationship Diversities (GSRD) psychology course I designed for future therapists and psychological researchers. God,Tom just sings my heart's desires - there's nothing more attractive than a bear, especially when it's a chubby one!!! I'm a biracial afro-european guy and I'm what americans would probably call a jock. Coming out as gay was quite an "adventure" in a black and muslim family, but coming out as a bear-/chub-lover years later proved actually to be even more difficult... and still does. In my social environment people's opinions about beauty and appropriate couple pairing are even more difficult to overcome than their prejudices towards sexual orientation.
