I can't find the clip but where greg says he can't stop thinking about jail. And Tom replies with something to the effect of "I've began to do the opposite. Always think about it. Then you have little moments where you aren't. ", I think about that one alot.

Tom’s statement about Afghanistan is a perfect metaphor for how he succeeded. Tom isn’t the protagonist, but he’s the successor who established a base of operations and covered ground. It may be immoral, but it’s poetic. Writing masterclass.

I love how Tom invokes the exact opposite moral from "The Shawshank Redemption"; Andy Dufresne's whole philosophy is that they can't get you if you hold onto hope.

i will never understand how they could resist doing at least 6, if not more seasons. there are so many questions to explore, logans upbringing, uncle noah, what happened to rose, why does ewan resent him so much and demand an apology, logans marriages, connors mom, and of course, why he took the three kids from caroline and how they were brought up. i feel like the writers know all of those things, and i wish they would tell us those stories.

Show is called succession it’s just about who succeeds Logan which is about to happen. Also it’s probably good that the show will end while it’s still a good show./

@@EthanAA1 i agree with you that the last season should end with logan's death and his successor, but i also believe they had enough other material to explore before it has to come to that.

It’s better that those questions are left to the imagination of the viewers, and given that there are so many implications to stuff about Logan’s upbringing and the way he raised his kids, I think people are able to fill in the blanks
