"The Post" (2017) is quite an entertaining film though definitely inferior to "Spotlight"(2015).

I think in some ways it's better and in some ways, it's not, ultimately they're more different than they might seem on face value. I think Spotlight is more about journalism and The Post is more about the people and the ideology behind journalism. It's also about a woman learning to become a leader in a man's world so to speak. Spotlight is more about the process and the story, how they slowly unraveled everything and found sources. Pushed people to be on the record or not. Interestingly one of the writers of Spotlight also contributed to writing The Post.
