Film star Tom Hanks has said there is no way back for movie mogul Harvey Weinstein following allegations of sexual misconduct and assault.
"We're at a watershed moment, this is a sea change," Hanks told the BBC.
"His last name will become a noun and a verb. It will become an identifying moniker for a state of being for which there was a before and an after."
Mr Weinstein "unequivocally denies" allegations of sexual assault, harassment and rape.
"Everybody has stories about some aspect of the 'casting couch'," Hanks said.

Epstein was able to get a sweetheart deal when they had 434 victims all with documentation just out of Florida and the Midwest. My friend called someone out on sexual harassment in our very small office. It was an extremely hard situation and she was made out to be a trouble maker. I was the only person on her side. This was a small office situation. So I can't imagine how difficult it would be to take on a powerful Hollywood mogul. It's alright for everyone to say that no one would do anything about it but people don't seem to realise exactly how hard it is to speak out about something like this as an individual. Power is in numbers and unfortunately it took them far too long to rally together that's where the problem lies. He did say everybody heard stories. But what was he supposed to do? It's not that easy. Hanks did never work for or with Weinstein. He maybe heard about something - so think about what would have happened, if he would have called him out? Maybe against the victims wishes? It would have done more harm than good. So Hank, never working with him and probably never directly hearing anything, should have spoken out? Besides it would have been considered hearsay. Matt Damon stated in some interviews that he knew about Paltrow from Affleck, but she never talked to him directly, so what was he about to do? He couldn't really ask her, and fighting her battles for her without her knowing is also not the best solution, is it? When she did decide to talk, he helped her by stating that he knew and that she wasn't lying. It's like when you hear that your neighbour is beating his wife, as long as the wife doesn't press charges or you see it happening, you can't really do anything about that.

He is definitely not comfortable with the subject.
