@aramis53013 жыл бұрын
@@beautifulspacesllc But that is also a large part of what makes him "hot", though. It's not just that he's incredibly pretty. He also has the kindest eyes, the most genuine smile, and a wonderful voice. I mean, for a long time I'd seen people thirst over Tom Hiddleston online, and as long as I only saw pictures of him, I didn't really understand why. But you need to actually see him move and talk and interact with people, and then it becomes really obvious why everyone is so in love with him.
@kirstenvdspek3 жыл бұрын
@@aramis5301 This is where I'm at right now, since Loki on Disney+. I was aware he was hugely popular but never dove into it myself. Until I did, and here I am, and I predict this feeling isn't going to end any time soon, if ever. Being enamored with him is very rewarding.
@MelissaThompson4326 жыл бұрын
I noticed that Loki in particular comes across as a theatrical character; Thor may be a Prince Hal, but he doesn't come across as that *type* of archetype. Loki is a master of drama. He uses overlarge gestures; in a way, his quiet moments are that much more fraught because he is so...I want to say orotund: "I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose!" The drama rolls off of him. Another actor would not have brought that tradition to Loki, and the character (and the MCU) would have suffered. Kenneth Branagh, to the extent that Tom Hiddleston is not self-created, didn't merely give a guy a job; he created a superstar. I predict the future is his for the taking.

This is a really good point. I think that's why I've been drawn to hiddleston out of the other actors. I have become completely obsessed with TWHiddleston. Honest To God, I can't get enough. I've read, watched and listened to enough of him that I went through "He's way too enamored of himself." To: "no. I think he is completely enamored of his art." AND, the man IS gifted; he has a right to have pride of self. He is also able to give praise to others, so he is not completely stuck on himself alone. He wants to be a kind person, a giving person, one who loves, but one who empathizes and is companionate. So, I'm sold. More please! And could I please adopt you, Mr. Hiddleston? I have kids your age you could play with. You'd have to move to Seattle, which is not a prison sentence. Do think on it. I'd be the happiest girl my age.

Tom is just such an interesting person. He just continuously astounds me with his intelligence and wit. I agree there is something to learning how people truly are under their masks. To really know who a person is when no one else is watching. I was just having a conversation with someone who joked who has time to really get to know someone. I think it's work the time. One of the reasons he's so outstanding like in The Night Manager is how much he can say just with his eyes or a gesture. I can't tell you how it affected me during that--no spoilers--fireworks scene. What Hopkins said to him touches me in a few ways, with my writing for one. But especially after losing some great musicians recently due to their darkness and how it was said there has to be someone who can touch the darkness for us. To go where angels fear to tread.
