I strongly feel that line "If your nothing without the suit...." comes from his own addiction to suits which was a cause of his hyper paranoia and anxiety everythime he was without the suit in Iron man 3.

The movie you're likely thinking of at the beginning is the Oscar-nominated "The Impossible," which is a true story and fantastic. The movie put Tom Holland on the map of great acting and helped him land the MCU Spiderman role. You guys are still waaay behind in the MCU. LONG way to go.

Toomes (vulture) kept Peter's identity of spiderman because if he reveal, his family or daughter will be caught up with Peter's mess..and he ddnt want that for his daughter.. the "8 years later" in the opening scene is a miscalculation from the studio..it should only be 3 or 4 years as the 1st Avengers happened in 2012 while Civil War happened around 2015 or 2016..

I collected Spiderman comics on multiple titles for years growing up and I can say without hesitation that Tom Holland is my least favorite live action Spiderman. And yes you read that right.

Perhaps you only read the titles on the covers. Is quite important to read the pages inside. I start reading Spider-Man when I was 8 or 10 years old, that means more than 45 years...
