A lot of people tend to get confused with the rules of the hammer. Odin possessed it first, then it was handed to Hela and finally to Thor. The hammer is not heavy anyone can lift it. However in the first Thor movie Odin put a spell on it "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor" In the scene where Thor throws it at Hela, she wasn't carrying it. The hammer was still in motion and she was just stopping it in place with her power the Odinforce. The last line of the spell is interesting to remember "shall possess the power of Thor". Thor already has the power of lightning and thunder and strength etc. (Thor learns that in this movie, that the power has always been inside him). The hammer just bestows those powers to whoever is worthy to weild the hammer.

Best part of this movie is Hulk ragdolling Thor like he did to Loki in the first Avengers movie. I find it hilarious though that that's the same actor who played Julius Caesar on Xena: Warrior Princess playing Skurge, Karl Urban

This is a very fun movie. Director Taika Waititi played Korg. The movies stay consistently good or get better. Hela broke her baby brothers little toy. Fun Facts. The skit that had Matt Damon as Loki also included Luke Hemsworth (Chris's brother) as Thor and Sam Neill as Odin. This is not the first time Matt Damon played Loki in any way. He played Loki in Dogma (1999) and an actor playing Loki here. Thor's use of the umbrella is an homage to the comics. Dr. Donald Blake possessed the power of Thor. He would bang his umbrella into the ground and it turned into Mjolnir and Blake into Thor. For the MCU they decided to just make Thor the real Thor. They had used Dr. Donald Blake as the alias Dr. Selvig gave him when he went to pick him up from shield. Korg as the triple stake weapon that he says is only good if using it against three vampires. This is a reference to Taika Waititi's movie "What We Do In The Shadows" from 2014.

Hela in the MCU is the half sisters to Thor but in the comic book she is the daughter of Loki. Hela Frigga and Valkyrie are around 3,000 years old despite them looking different ages due to the fact that Valkyrie spent most of her time on the planet saakar. Thor's age inconsistencies also explains why Thor how is supposed to be a thousand-year-old like Loki what's depicted in the first Thor movie but Thor himself claims to be 1500 years old. Is due to the fact that at some point Thor spent time on a planet that aged him prematurely which also would explain why Thor is so much stronger than Loki physically is due to the fact that he was aged which would make him stronger because asgardians get stronger the older they become. The Hulk and Bruce Banner are two separate identities which over the course of two years which was longer on the planets saakar Hulk figure out how to exist without his rage fueling him. Thor was able to beat surtur because he was weakened and strip from the source of his power the eternal flame which took Odin with the space infinity stone just to dethrone surtur. The grandmaster is the brother to The collector and one of the immortals of the universe.
