Don't buy into whatever you are being told without doing your own research. We need to all start seeking and searching the truth instead of waiting to be told that truth. Tom Jones is now a judge on the British version of "The Voice." There is a video on KZbin where a contestant named Peter Donegan comes out. Tom asks Peter if he is any relation to Lonnie Donegan - who wrote: "I'll Never Fall In Love Again." Peter replies shyly - "Yeah, he's my Dad." Tom is dumbfounded - he had no idea it was going to happen. But then he asks Peter if he would like to sing it together with him. And, they do. Tom Jones was the Welsh world wide heat throb. Women used to toss their lingerie and hotel keys on stage.

I grew up as a child in the 60s, teen in the 70s and so on. Your journey into my music, is a place the youth of today need to hear. Music that moves one's heart in every direction and allows you to feel. Your journey, shares this with new generations. Thank you.

I can just say that most women your age have never felt that deep love. Our breed of men that has this deep love is unknown to your generation.

Too busy yrying to look all the rught part, everything is fake - fake makeup fake hair fake boobs you name it, its fake. And they wonder why their relationships don't last - too fake! Even theur singing voices are full of fake fake fake sadness

I believe that depth of love can still be found, it's just that popular music has forgotten how to express it like this.
@johnP09083 жыл бұрын
@@danieldickson8591 including the listeners I'm afraid, people are just into casual relationships nowadays. That's why the quality of music has drastically changed. From being a vulnerable man facing heartbreak to music today depicting someone moving from one chick to another and flexing his cars and money. People are more into materialistic things today, most of us lost interest in "deep love".

Somewhere on KZbin there is Sir Tom Jones, 80 years old, singing this song, backed by the son of the composer of this song. He still has it,

The song was written by Lonnie Donegan. Tom is a coach on The Voice now. Lonnie’s son Peter auditioned and Tom was the only coach to turn around. They sang the song together: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mISYq2CEp5iEnrM

He was married to the same woman since his teens. Sadly she is no longer with us. This song was written by the great Lonnie Donnigan, he actually sang this with Lonnies son on The Voice.

Tom didn't write this. He felt this pain a few years ago when his wife died. He said music saved his life and is a coach on Voice UK still sounds amazing.

I think Lonnie Donegan is the original😊

Lonnie was the won who wrote the song for Tom. While judging Voice UK Tom turned for a young with last name Donegan. Tom asked him if he knew lonnie Donegan. He said it was my Dad. Tom asked him if he knew the song and they both sang it. Its on youtube.

@@davidmac2939 Lonnie wrote it for himself and put out a record in 1962. He later brought it to Tom who recorded it in 1967. Tom misremembered this on The Voice.

Love your genuine reaction…. I felt something way back when, as a lil boy when I heard this song for the first time. My mom was infatuated (to say the least) with this crooner, thus my early years where filled with the richness of his voice. It was years later when I realized what this song meant to my dear mom who had lost my father while she was pregnant with me, I remembered and felt every painful tear drop she shed, this was her go-to song , her sad companion that reminded her of lost love, ultimately, her therapy.

Loved your reaction. I grew up listening to his music. It doesn’t get any better than this! True, absolute talent! Tom Jones is a legend!
