Tom Jones gave Janis Joplin what she always needed; a great backing band. Joplin worked best with equally talented people. Big Brother, while solid, weren’t on her level. This band is hot, dead in her zone. And Tom complements and pushes her to new levels. She gave her all on this. Her gratitude radiates.

@tigristhelynx72243 жыл бұрын
You don't usually see this kind of charged spirit onstage between two vocalists very often, usually performers give off "we were forced to be together" vibes and they stick to their own separate part. But here Janis is being her effervescent self, filling in all the silence while Tom tries so hard to follow her lead. She's really showing him how it's done! It's great to see them both having a blast. Janis even started grinding on the dance floor with him! The energy between them is wonderful.
