Tom was a ladies man n knew how to push our buttons.😉 The under garments that hit the stage in many of his performances.😆

Tom Jones, the singing Welshman! A fantastic voice. There's a video of Tom hosting a show where he introduces welsh singer Mary Hopkin using their native Welsh language. Pretty cool stuff!

My first wife's grandmother loves Tom Jones and at nearly 90 years old, she still talks about how great it was to go one of his concerts more than 50 years ago 🎵❤🎵

Although I've been aware of Tom Jones for a long time, I've become acquainted with much of music and the depth of his talent only over the last two years. I regret it has taken so long, he was and still is such an amazing singer.

This is another example of the eclectic selection of music that I love to listen to. This guy can dance! Not many singers can dance with that energy and make it look so good. Tom Jones request? "It's Not Unusual" And learn how to do 'The Carlton' dance. Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey are two of my favorite vocalists. I believe both Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones are from Wales.

Hi, Harri. Tom Jones was my first, my last, my in-between. He taught me how to be a top person. Like him, I wear cuban heel shoes (It's getting a bit harder now with my increasing age and failing back!) I have seen Tom Jones live 8 times, and will be seeing him in Luxembourg next year! Great reaction!

I always enjoyed Tom's TV show, best was with Janis Joplin guesting...easy to find. I loved the time I sang 'What's New Pussycat' at karaoke and a lovely friend of the house was inspired to shimmy her way to the stage at the back of the room. Good times! 🍻🍻🍻🎶🎤 Tom Rocks. Every tune different, every one built around that powerful voice and soulful delivery.

I have always taken this song by Tom Jones “She’s A Lady”, as a song about a husband and wife taking AND keeping their marriage vows, trusting each other, but not taking each other for granted, the husband loves his wife, but is not a tyrant, the wife does not try to be the head of the family. There is not only love and trust in their marriage, there is ALSO respect for each other. They are married to each other, BUT NOT living separate lives, NOT living as if still single, NOT living for self only. They can argue, disagree, AND notice the lyrics about that she can take what he dishes out, she does NOT come across as his doormat, she can put him in his place when needed.

Harri, you should watch Tom sing Treat Her Right. It’s also very funky and it demonstrates the effect that he had on the women in the audience.

Part of his resurgence in the '90s and beyond were his "funky" covers of Prince's "Kiss" and The Talking Heads' "Burning Down The House".

Harri, loved your reaction as ever, Tom is the enduring vocalist of uk music, still fantastic at 80. My recommendation is one of his more recent songs "What Good Am I", gets you thinking. Take care kid and cheerio from Glasgow.

This was from an album of his that is credited January 1971, song written by Paul Anka. Had to look, as this was not my stuff to listen to at the time! But on the radio and inescapable none the less...

My mother (when she was in her sixties), many years ago, went to a live performance by Tom Jones. Being an older, conservative “lady”, she was absolutely horrified that her peers (other older women) were throwing various undergarments to him so he could wipe the sweat from his brow and throw them back. Hahaha! I loved it. Anyway, he’s one of the greats and, YES, the women loved him.

He did some interesting performances with rock acts on his old TV show. He sang with Janis Joplin, CSN&Y, Joe Cocker, Wilson Pickett and others I can't think of at the moment. Some were great, while some were train wrecks that you couldn't take tour eyes off of.

My dad took us to see a James Bond film in the 60s. It was our first Bind. Ton m Jones did a fantastic job ot the Ritke sing Thunderballl . The last note, man, set the scene for the action to come. It was wondrous. I think he is the only singer to equal and you know what I am going to say Harri to equal Shytkey Basswy doing a Bond song. So its Thunsmderball for ny suggestion. I dint know what Thunderballa ate but Sir Tom has got them whatever they are
