Jim's so talented. Basically, an homage to the greatest singer/entertainer of the 60's and 70's bar none.The irony that Sir Tom Jones was knighted isn't lost on me, as he began as a teen singing to coal miners in his small town in Wales, and the Welsch historically hated the English monarchy and tyranny. Tom did the long drive to London for his shot on the BBC, and was told "It's television, you can't just stand and sing." His adaptation to that education from London television reporters made him the world's sex symbol, and consummate singer, leading to "This is Tom Jones", a show I loved as a teen in the US. From "It;s Not Unusual" in 1965 onward, I've loved the great man and his singing and songs.

@@michelleregis6181 The only plastic surgery Tom Jones has had is the fixing of the oft-broken nose of his youth, and that was done around 1966. Taking part in street fights and club boxing matches had ended up breaking Tom's nose a number of times. Once he started making his first real money singing he had a simple rhinoplasty done that fixed the "lean" and removed the slight bump. I think he was ruggedly attractive before the surgery was done, and just as sexy after. Though he'll be 81 soon, Tom is still a sexy man. He has a handsomeness and class in his maturity, and his voice is deeper and richer.

I remember, as a kid, when Tom Jones first came on the scene. He was looked at as a bit racey. It was also predicted that with the intensity in which he belted out a song that he would soon burn out his vocal cords and lose his voice. Boy did he prove them wrong. @@raysmusic49 He wasn't as tall as you, but he wasn't short. Tom was 5'10" tall and very slim as a young man. In his twenties he definitely had a very sexy V-shape physique (mmm... those broad shoulders, long torso, and narrow waist and hips). And he mostly kept that figure through his 30s and early 40s. In his middle years he sometimes put on some muscle working out. Other times put on a little weight. Now that he's in his later years, he's not quite so tall or as slim as he once was. People do lose some height as they age because of compression of the spine over the years due to gravity. But Tom's still fine looking and fairly trim for his age. He's never lost his charisma. As for all that copious sweating... you'd sweat, too, dancing like he did, singing like he did with all the movements, and interacting with the orchestra or band, plus being under the hot lights. Look out if you were a front row ticket holder, you'd get splattered with the sweat flung off his body as he performed.
