Just like a DC trade-dress, we can't finish this series without slightly changing the thumbnail. Welcome back to part 3 of my Tom King Batman review. Here we cover an interesting bunch of stories: Cold Days, Beasts of Burden, The Tyrant Wing, Knightmares, and the Fall and the Fallen. So let's see what these stories are all about and whether or not Batman gets over Catwoman dumping him (he doesn't).

If it wasn’t for your channel, and Comics Explained, I wouldn’t understand some parts of this run... King’s writing is so random and hard to figure out where he’s going with ideas, and very repetitive. I’m not a fan at all, reading Knightmares now. Thanks a lot, man! great video!!

Plot twist: It’s all because of Bane cause Bane wrote the run to absolutely shame Batman down to his worst traits

This video only exists because of Bane. I definitely felt like Bane is unrealistically a god in this story. I applaud you for trying to be optimistic throughout these reviews, but your valid points just show how terrible this story really is. I firmly believe Tom King is doing worse things for DC Comics than Zack Snyder ever did with the DCU. Side note: I would be more than happy to see you actually write for DC in place of King, but only if Bane wills it so.

I dropped Batman after the it blueballed everyone with not going through with the wedding. Bruce and Celina being married could have been great development for both characters. But we can't have happy heroes. I only started reading Batman again after King was finally kicked off.

I LOVE Batman, but everything about Tom King's run feels like it's not for me. Even when I hear people who like it talk about it, it still makes my cringe. I borrowed this series from the library because after Volume 1 I just didn't want to spend my money on it. I found it basically unreadable. I know that's harsh but my "to read" pile is pretty big so if I'm not feeling it, I stop reading it and move onto the next thing. This one is an easy pass. I really liked The Cowardly Lot and Fear State from Tynion though. And I'm so excited to get into the Court of Owls. Right now I'm reading through Allstars. I'm on the fence after the first volume. We'll see what Volume 2 is like later today. I don't care for the weird stuff that happens in this run. Like, I don't want to see Thomas Wayne as Batman. My son says it's the 'tism but I don't think so. It's just not what I want from a Batman story.

I think it's been explained before that Bruce doesn't believe in the idea of god as it exists in religion (benevolent and caring, etc), but he knows deities exist.
