Not these days. These days, being a Christian is SAYING you're a follower of Christ. That seems to be the bar. Taking care of the poor? Nah. Tolerating others? Heck, no. I HAVE to believe that every mild, kind-hearted and honest person, whatever their background or religion, will go to heaven before 99% of Christians in America. It's kind of gross, actually. Yo, Nova and Tom have probably saved more lives this year than the churches.

There is one religion that is organized and the real true church. People seem to forget that God is a God of order and not of chaos. We need to thank Him for putting our heads on our shoulders and our asses behind us about halfway down our spines making life much more easy and pleasant to get around. My eyes, nose and mouth in the middle of my face is right where I need them to be instead of just under my left butt cheek. Organized is awesome as long as you don't have a group of enemies trying to rearrange your body parts from here to there. Now who would that be?

Yep, exactly, I've been Christian all my life, was born into and raised in the faith but i take no word from man. Because as you say, men lie. I only take the word of God. And his activity in my life. My faith is a relationship with God and not church. And once I have that faith, I know exactly who he is. It's a relationship, not a religion.

If you don't trust a human being to tell you the truth about Christ, then just pick up a Christian Bible, read it for yourself, hold everything anyone tells you about Christ and Christianity and being a follower of Christ up to the Words Christ spoke himself to you through those who wrote the Bible. Literally, everything you want to know, every question you have, every pain you feel or confusion you have can be found, answered, comforted and discovered in the Bible.

It sounds like you are somewhat of an agnostic, except on the side of belief, same here. I had a near death experience, and it really confirmed my belief that there is a God and something akin to Angels. I talked to someone that explained their NDE to me and it was strikingly similar to mine which helped a lot in coming to terms with the fact that what happened to me wasn’t just a fluke. It feels quite amazing when you have some type of evidence even if it’s not tangible.

No you're right it wouldn't just a fluke. I know you don't know me but if you did you know I speak truth to the best of my ability and I had a drug overdose when I was young dumb and didn't know what I was doing. And it's a night that I've never forgot I was around 18 and I'm 50 now and can remember that night even to this day in great detail. Heaven and hell is very much good God and the devil is very much and I'm glad to hear that you're on The winning side and that you have been chosen. Many are called a few are chosen.

I sounded similar as a teenager, but prayed to God to show me his true nature, saying that I won’t believe people, just him. He showed me the trinity in a future dream, that involved events that got fullfilled. He also allowed the devil to threaten me and show me an abortion, before I had a plan how they were performed. It‘s best to keep praying and staying open, to whatever God reveals.

Tom, I’m a Christian. And before I say anything. I absolutely love you’re commitment and love for your fans. So let me explain. So you have a dislike for organized religion. First off, glad to hear. Religion is for people so caught up in their system of what they think is right vs what is right. Going to church doesn’t necessarily mean going to a church with four walls. We as Christians are the church. “Where two or more gather, he will show up”. So something I want to express Tom and please see this as nothing other than I love your talent, you’re a wonderful human being. God loves you, and wants nothing but the best for you. No he can’t. Satan is not omniscient, omnipotent or omnipresent. He’s a fallen angel. He isn’t all knowing or all powerful. He needed Gods permission to attack Job and he somehow didn’t know Job wouldn’t curse God. Bible also says the Devil prowls around like a lion seeking whom he may devour which tells us he has to find us and tempt us. If he heard our prayers, he wouldn’t need to seek for us. Interestingly, the book of Romans actually describes WHY you believe there is "someone" or "something" out there, even if you don't know who it is: "For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. Being a follower of the Way is very different from anything the "church" of today puts out. Jesus always had "church" people after Him for not fitting into their way of doing things. Jesus did it God's way and people like to add and subtract to what that actually means. Love God and love people encompasses the whole Torah aka the instructions of life (not the sacrificial laws but the 10 commandments). Going to a building won't save you. Following man made traditions of saying a little prayer and never changing isn't going to save you. Confessing Jesus as your savior and keeping his commands is the ticket. You aint gettin in if you dont have Jesus and if you do have Jesus then you will find that you want to keep the commandments sheerly because you do love Him. The Holy Spirit will write them on your heart. ❤ Being a follower of His way doesn't mean that temptation wont come your way or that life will suddenly become a field of daisies. It's where you know that when that temptation comes He will be your strength to help you say no and that's when the temptation will flee. His promise isn't that nothing will be hard. It's that He will be with you while you endure til the end so that you can receive the prize, my friend!! I encourage you to just read the bible and seek Him. He promises that if you seek Him with your whole heart that He will hear you!!! He didnt leave me laying on the floor of a strangers house, lost and feeling completely alone. He won't leave you there either! Call out to Him. He may not answer you the way you think but He will answer. Things will start to change one day at a time. Take one step at a time. Baby steps are still steps. One step closer to Him is one step away from the darkness. I'm praying for you!!!

I love Tom, but I strongly have got to disagree with his thought process on this matter. Creator God isn't a misleader, liar or anything else like all the other so called choices of gods out there. You will know the truth and the truth will set you free. Like it or not, Jesus Christ/Yeshua Ha Mashiach is the only way to get through the gates of Heaven to Father God. No one comes to The Father but through Him Jesus His Son. That's the truth out of our hands and not a forced choice made to believe lightly. My question is.. Why would you say you are more important that Christ????? His song Icon tells you the truth right there in plain sight. before he says those lyrics he says "They all say that I'm god Maybe this is Heaven" I followed him since Wannabe. I was an OG fan of Toms but something happened in my life and I got really close to Jesus and I was washing dishes today put on all his albums on random and the song ICON played and it was like being hit in the face with a sledge hammer. Something always told me something about him was off. My girlfriend was telling me the same and when she went to look something up the likes on it was 666. I would say it could be a coincidence but I don't believe in coincidence It was a sign trying to tell us then. If you listen to his song writing method you can easily see that Tom has done his homework down to the last detail on how to real you in. Using words like We and Us and I'm Just like you and the music itself is has a hypnotic tempo the same as they use in pop music to put people in Transient states. I have spent a lot of time praying about this and this is what I was shown.

The reason politics and religion are divisive are because they are the essentially your declaration of morals/values. They are the strongest indicators of your worldview and because they are intertwined with your morals, that means they are likewise inherently intertwined with your convictions. I'm not sorry that I have conflict with people who differ from me in these areas, and you shouldn't be either. It means there are values you are willing to fight for and hills you will be willing to die on.

The thing is Christ is exclusive and doesnt accept being put beside other gods (small g intentional. He understands your doubts and His Word verifies what your sayin "All men are liars" But God doesnt lie, His Word don't lie. Theres a ton of evidence not only for a creator but for Christ being Him but that takes work and study. Easier to take on faith but then you never really know right? He says this, Anyone that denies Him in front of men He'll deny in front of the Father. He also says He is the ONLY way to Heaven. The other Faith's dont make this claim of exclusivity. Not Buddah, Shivah,Hindi, etc. They all say their are many paths and names of god but Jesus Christ says He is the ONLY way, that there is no other name under Heaven and Earth in which men might be saved. Time is running out fast. The things your rhyming about are symptoms of what's coming. They're gonna come harder and faster and meaner and bigger. The end is coming like a freight train. I dont get paid to convert you, no brownie buttons, no rewards, not even a pat on the back so when I say I do it cause I love you, that's sincere. I dont know you so how do I love you? Cause I do know you through your music but more so I know you through myself. Jesus said there is no temptation not common to man. In other words as different as we all are were also the same. Our pain, our joy, our triumphs and failures all feel a certain way. I love you because He loves you or He wouldnt have touched me to write this and you to read it. I can show you the proof over time or you can find it yourself thru better men than me but you need to find it brother. God understands you not understanding but that big gaping hole in your soul is the missing piece that only He can fill. It's never easy, it doesnt get easier when you accept Him into your life, it gets harder but with Him comes a peace that goes beyond understanding. A sense that your home, you made it...You've been searching for Him and Hes been waiting for you to come home. Get to a foursquare, calvary chapel or assembly of God Church. There are others but like everything else in the world in the last days corruption is setting in and those are the safest places I could send you. I think God directed me here at this specific time to reach you. Love ya bro, hope you find your way home. Still and always praying. I dont want shit from you, dont even need your time. Just want you to make it home, to find your Father in fullness not shadow and to feel that peace. Open up Gods Word and go where it takes you. Pray for Him to forgive you and fill you. Seek Him out, ask to hear Him. If your sincere and push in hard enough you'll hear Him. Promise brother...anyhow, love and blessings and always praying for you and Nova....

Fair enough! I have gone from atheist, to agnostic, to believer. It took seeing, in slow motion, someone or something protect my child. As we sat eating ice cream cones at a roadside stand, a roll-over collision sent car parts flying everywhere. Part of a quarter panel came straight for his head but, before hitting him, it deflected up and to the side, landing on the ground beside him. It was like my son had a force field around him. I'm convinced this was no coincidence. The older I get, the more I understand it and the more important faith and a relationship with the creator becomes. My mother said something similar. I took a fall one time onto asphalt. My mother saw it and she swore that I fell head down almost until I hit and she said my head stopped for a second until the rest of my body caught up to it and then I settled down to the ground. I do not remember the fall and find it difficult to believe my mother but she swears that something broke my fall a couple inches above the ground and then set me down rather than me falling to the ground.

Jesus Christ himself described this "wicked one" (or Satan the devil) at John 8:44 as the "father of the lie". because of this fact, Jesus warned that many would claim to follow him, but would show by their actions that they are "workers of lawlessness" (Mathew 7:21-23). this is just scratching the surface as to why the world is the way it is today but the Bible holds the answers to what the purpose of life is, how we can be happy, and what hope we have for the future.

You pray in private. 1st step; When praying thank him for all of creation.Exalt The Father The Son And The Holy Spirit.(give him praise!)Ask Forgiveness Of Sins And Mean It. (Father knows your deepest thought's and heart) Ask Him To Come In To Your Life. 2nd step; Get Baptised Fully Immersed In Water. After doing so you should have visions and or dreams. Be patient. I went to a Catholic school and it drove me deeper into death/black metal. The timing wasn’t right, plain and simple. Tom religion, isn't what you think, Jesus is the church, reject religion but embrace Jesus. I promise you it's Jesus, I have faith you will find out it's Jesus. I faith you will figure that out but I totally understand where you are coming from, I trust God over the church, the Christian people are the church itself. Read the Bible Jesus was always doing things around town rarely in church. I have faith God will help you fully see that. I get attacked because I am a Christian who loves heavy metal and I get along great with atheists. I don't agree with them a lot but I understand where they are coming from because I was ridiculed in Catholic school for enjoying rock and wearing black and enjoying horror movies and being a Harry Potter fan. I never let those things affect my personal beliefs because it's called entertainment for a reason . Now if I was living those things that would be a different story.
