You make some great points in your reaction to this, as Tom does in the video. It comes down to where we decide to put our energy. There is so much divisiveness that mainstream media seems to promote and thrive on, as if every single issue is yes/no, either/or, black/white, red/blue… and life just isn’t like that. I don’t know what the answer is, except to promote common sense, as you said. I do sometimes go in to a stream of comments that all lean in one direction and just give some examples of why there are other possibilities. It isn’t easy because there’s always a backlash, but there is also always support from others who just didn’t want to be the one to say, “Wait a minute…what about…?” The point is a civil discussion, rather than an argument about every single thing. I can’t help but think that someone, somewhere, must benefit from keeping us at each others’ throats. 😔 Great job, Josh 👍
