To me, this seems like Tom crooning a wrap-up of 2024 set to "Let It Snow," but also, as a person who has followed his art for a long time, it's a reference to Snowflakes (his song) which is also a term to describe people who get butthurt over people's opinions. So, in true Tom spirit, the snow falling means that he knows these opinions might piss some people off, and the forecast says there will be snowflakes. His art is often deeper than what people credit him for. He makes so many connections to past work. You really have to pay attention to get it. He was even prepared for the people calling him a "grifter" (grifting politics for money) when the video says download for free. I swear, his and Nova's brains are on a different level.

First saw you on your cousin's channel, glad you got your own now. Loving the content. Glad you're trying to go through his videos chronologically (minus dono requests). You'll see his political opinions evolve over time in a similar way to myself and millions of others. I see him, like myself, as someone who was left leaning libertarian in general. But is now more right leaning. And not really because there was any major change in beliefs, but more because the left keeps shifting and if you believe in common sense and freedom of speech that's the only side that makes sense. And the more Tom explored that route, the more he was naturally pulled towards Trump and MAGA. I do have some MAJOR issues with right-wingers. But, in the last decade, the left has gone SO damn far extreme and has verbally targetted anybody that doesn't agree with them, been incredibly and openly racist towards white people, and even got to a point of being very physically violent... it's hard to NOT take the side of the right. Tom used to be pretty middle of the road politically, but the longer things go on, he finally saw that one side was far worse than the other (even if the right still ultimately sucks).

Tom MacDonald is pretty much 100% right wing. There's nothing satirical about this. He's simply ripping on the left as he has done many times before. I'm more right wing than Tom is, but I get the sense that you have a few left leanings, so I'm sorry if it stings a little. You seem to be struggling with it ever so slightly. For me, Tom MacDonald is very refreshing. He's still the only outwardly right wing rapper that I know of with any name recognition. With that said, I don't particularly like his beats or his style. I like hop-hop and rap for the craft. I like groups like Jurassic 5, Dilated Peoples, Wu-Tang and producers like Gramatik, ProleteR & Tipper. I like a particular sound, clever double meanings, interesting delivery etc. While it's nice to have a right wing rapper on the scene now, it's not enough to keep me coming back for more. I don't return to Tom MacDonald tracks after the first listen. I couldn't be less politically aligned with most of my favourite hip-hop producers and rappers & yet I like their sound. I hate the politics of rappers like Eminem and Harry Mack, but their skill is undeniable.
