I'm an old white lady, 63, and a Christian, and I totally love this guy! After hearing his video "People So Stupid", I went to his channel and watched several other vid's. The fact is, some of the other video's were uncomfortable to watch, but at the same time this young man can tell a story. He is able to voice not just his thoughts, feelings and opinions, but those of others and I REALLY respect that! He does not worry about what others think and he tells it like he sees it. I think this rapper is a breath of fresh air! Even if you might not like what he is stating.

I’ve been talking about Cancel Culture for awhile now, and this song is an example of why books like “White Fragility” by Robin DiAngelo and “critical race theory” is so detrimental to society. Tom embodies the spirit of the First Amendment in a way that illustrates that the First Amendment only protects society’s Freedom of Speech from the government, but society needs to protect Freedom of Speech from itself. My intro to Tom MacDonald was Helluvit! At my 1st HOG show Tom came and stood out in the crowd and I actually got to stand RIGHT NEXT to him for almost all of Novas set until he went to go get ready. I just stood and jammed out with him KNOWING I’d never have that chance ever again because this guy was going places.. even though it wasn’t a large crowd and Tom had just been in the hospital for some reason, he got to Joliet, IL and put on a f-ing performance! EASILY in my top three shows EVER!

I found Helluvit on Facebook and fell in love. Whiteboy hit Facebook and I was hooked. I had close friends and family that I lost touch with because they purposefully ignored the message in his music just to have something to hate and turned that towards me because I liked it. Tom MacDonald help me burn shit off and polished me further; his come up showed me who my true friends were, got me an A+ on a music thesis essay, and gave me a reaffirmed love for the rap game. Thank you Tom and thank you Simba for getting not just him as a rapper but him as a person since y’all weren’t just interviewing, this was a sit down conversation and it warms my heart to see.

For me, "Politically Correct" was what grabbed me in, but "Dear Rappers" is exactly when I knew I'd found one of the best in rap today.
