I remember when Tom was an absolute unknown, and he just started dating Nova. Nova already had a good little fan base going, so people were pig piling on this dude, calling him a loser, leech etc. Now look at him, years later. Him and Nova are still together, they make an incredible team, and Tom's music is blowing up, for the simple fact that it's unique and good music. I love seeing people succeed, especially when they face adversity along the way.

Born in '70. Spent my life listening to pretty much anything but rap or country. Bands like Meshuggah, Lamb of God, Intronaut, Jinjer, Steven Wilson, Haken, and Snarky Puppy were part of my ever-evolving playlist. Not rap. Then last year I discovered Tobe Nwigwe, rapping about purpose. He got my attention and over time I became a true fan of the rap game. Tobe brought me in. Since then I have been following a lot of rappers very closely, and think I maybe discovered Tom 'bout the same time I found Adam Calhoun (another incredible talent). In all this long list of long-loved musicians, Tom MacDonald has easily jumped into #1 (Gawd, even above Meshuggah? I gotta think a minute...) Yes, #1. Not just the music, but the message. The message is so damn on point. In my mind he's already as relevant as the greats of any era I've been through. I mean that sincerely. Tom & Nova goes to show you what a couple people with courage and vision can do to help change the world. How people manage to get the message twisted eludes me completely (part of me suspects they **want** to get it twisted).

I’m new to Tom’s music...I’m also a 61 year old white women.I found Tom’s “No Lives Matter”. I was so intrigued by the title. Once he started rapping it was the first time I was actually listing to a message that I so believe in,especially with our election. Tom got it and wasn’t afraid to say it in his music. I love that he is putting out content that is truthful and raw without watering it down for others. Just because someone else that gets to put their opinions out there behind a keyboard shield wants to make assumptions and turn everything into a shitshow of ignorance he is being true to himself.
