Please let's avoid using the ending -s in Simple Present. It is getting old-fashioned. We don't need to use it in singular verb forms because -s is first of all an indicator of PLURAL form for substantives (book - books, house - houses etc.) That's why "it elevates / it brings" sound illogically. He/she/it is ONE person/subject, that's why he/she/it don't need -s.
