Growing up on the family ranch, Tom wanted nothing in life other than to ranch and be a cowboy, and when he graduated from college. His granddad was a rancher in the “Indian Territory” in the 1880s, and moved to Texas in 1908 where he later bought the land that became the Moorhouse Ranch. Tom says that ranching was in his blood.
Working with horses has been a major part of his life as a working rancher. His horsemanship skills have won him many awards in the American Quarter Horse Association and the respect of working cowboys and ranchers.
