Despite Tom O'Flaherty being born in London, Tom made his name in rugby in Wales. Having played for Cardiff RFC, then moved onto Bridgend Ravens then had a 1 season spell at Montpellier, he decided to move back to Wales where he played for Ospreys where he started to make his name. Rob Baxter, Exeter Chiefs noticed his quality and signed him on the 26th of January, 2017 prior to the 2017/2018 season.
In the 2018/2019 season, he started to play more and towards the end of the season where O'Flaherty was given more game time, he was given the opportunity to start in the Exeter Chiefs semi-final against Northampton Saints where he had a cracking game. I can only imagine what his future will hold.
