The world is a better place, because Tom Petty was in it. wish he still was. what a bummer.

America's greatest rockers. Like they never grew old, thought they would be here forever with new songs. And then Tom was gone and the Heartbreakers were over. Still miss Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

What an awesome mini documentary, . I enjoy hearing that cool guy speak as much as I enjoyed his songs and music for over 40 years. A gift to us all.

I remember when the heart breakers first album came out. I think it was 78 but I could be off one way or the other. The first interview with Rolling stone. They asked Tom what was in his pocket? He said an ounce of really good weed and the keys to his Jag… I loved these guys. Must have listened to there first album 1,000 times. I miss you Tom. The world is so much colder without you. God Bless you and I hope one day I get to see and talk to you.

I'm so Sooo happy that your dream came true..... not just for you and the Heartbreakers, but for me and all your loving fans out here in the great wide open. You worked really hard to make it happen, and keep happening. With all that natural raw talent you had, hard work, determination and some luck thrown in .....you got to live your dream. And I'm so happy for you ;) Love you always and rest easy. 💕 Gone too soon.

Maybe when you visualise something enough and work hard enough, and life doesn't derail you, then there is a small chance that you just might land your dream.

Tom Petty had things that would have derailed alot of people....the abusive father, the house fire that nearly killed him and his family, which was deliberately set! , having to file bankruptcy, the unhappy first marriage, and continually having to produce and that stress of feeling responsible financially for his bandmates over the many years. He earned the right to start to take it alittle more lightly and enjoy time at home with his wife and family. I am so sorry he was being plagued with physical ailments and terrible pain 😔 . He didn't deserve it after giving so much enjoyment to others. Wish he had postponed the tour to have his hip replaced. He was a workaholic and dedicated to his fans and band mates. But like someone said, there was not one of the band or his fans for that matter, who wouldn't have wanted him to postpone that tour to take care of his hip. RIP TP. Forever missed. Irreplaceable !!!
