Tom Pidcock has set the 2021 racing season on fire - on road as well as off! Before winning Gold at the Tokyo Olympics on his mountain bike, Tom picked up some great results at the spring classics - even winning Brabantse Pijl from Wout Van Aert! This is the Pinarello Dogma F12 X light Tom rode for the first half of this season, before moving to the updated Dogma F, which he'll ride at the upcoming Vuelta a España: his maiden Grand Tour!
Do you think Tom will win a stage at the Vuelta? Should he focus entirely on the road or continue racing CX & MTB, too? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

When you puncture, Quick releases are much easier to get a spare tire without tools. This openes possibility of help from neutral service, team cars, and strategically placed staff ( think Paris Roubaix). Teams on disk brakes and through axles need a whole bike exchange for a simple puncture. Road racing is different worlds from MTB. The Quick release does it's job.

What's interesting Ineos a team with reputation and budget to adopt new technology first for marginal gains performance has decided to stay with rim brakes and be the last hold out on the Pro peloton. That says says it all about disk brake "advantage" on road bikes.

Porte's bike likely had additional mass added, considering the weight difference between the sponsor correct C60 wheels that were shown in the video, and the wheels he actually used for most of the race Princeton Carbonworks 4540's just so happened to get it right to the UCI weight limit.

Kid sized rider. Much, much faster than you though! (I admit it is tiny. Pidders is roughly 170cm and that 46.5cm frame only has a 515mm tt. So with a 110mm stem that's still a short reach.)

@@graememorrison333 Very late to this conversation, but IMO that's just about the right measure for people around our height (me being 1.68m in height). @@graememorrison333 you must have a much longer upper body (+few cm longer lower body) than me. I can't even comfortably ride a bike with 54cm ett with ~10cm stem. Even the 52cm ett + 10cm stem gets uncomfortable for me after 3.5hrs (most likely down to not being fit enough)
