All in all, the video is great, but I have a great objection to the guide, you should not grab the line when the fish on the rod, it was a terrible mistake and it is almost sure way to lose the fish, no matter what kind it is, you do not do it, Simply as that. Milan

Agreed. Also, the guide should always ask the client if he/she wants to release the fish themselves, rather than not giving them any option.

Yea Tom had to ask if he could release the fish lol. He didn’t get to until the end. He should be the one to unhook it in the net and send it off. I get it though, these fish are extremely rare, only 4 fish allowed C&R per day? Dinners are “3-4 lb lobster, prime rib” etc etc .. I don’t know.. at 5000 dollars per fisherman no gear included.. the whole thing stinks to high heaven. A little pretentious maybe, but the strain should be protected for sure.
