Both bands are great, yes, the first room was the one band the second the other, then for the third verse they came together and since the ones from the first room didn't need to bring their instruments, they just kinda stood there and added harmonies/extra voices to the leads. It was a fantastic cover of the song, one of the best ones I've ever heard. SO great!! You should check out a singer by the name Faouzia, she has a beautiful voice and goes between a ballad, pop and dance vibe in her songs. She also has an ethnic flare as she is Moroccan. One of her biggest songs is Tears of Gold, you should check out the stripped version, she is amazing!! Enjoy!!

One of my favorite singers. Henning May was born in Cologne, Germany in 1992. What an awesome voice. My absolute favorite metal singer is Dan Vasc. He comes from Brazil and, in my opinion, has probably the most versatile voice on the planet. Whether metal, rock or opera. It's worth checking out his channel ❤️. Count me in.

Tom's Diner, the original by Susanne Vega, is truly iconic. BTW, the song helped developing the MP3 compression algorithm. There's a real Tom's Restaurant in NYC which served namesake for the song. The restaurant's exterior also became popular for shootings of Seinfeld and Monk.

The song is a cover of Suzanne Vega's Tom's Diner (1987). This is a collaboration of two German bands: In the first room AnnenMayKantereit are playing and Henning May (deep raspy voice) is their singer. And in the second room Giant Rooks are playing, Frederik Rabe is their singer. A little later AnnenMayKantereit join them. AMK does mostly German songs, Henning can also sing without that rasp, his voice is amazing, but I like Frederiks voice even more. Giant Rooks do English songs, even though they are Germans as well. Annenmaykantereit, or AMK for foreigners😉, and Giant Rooks are two german bands. Both amazing. Annenmaykantereit formed their band name out the 3 last names of the members Christoph Annen, Henning May and Severin Kantereit. They startet with singing on the streets in cologne, had then a hit with 'Pocahontas', getting very famous, even outside of germany, with some covers like this on tiktok and youtube. But they also have amazing own songs in german, which you could find translations for on the internet, if you're interested. Even with language barrier absolutely worth to listen to. I've seen soo much foreign youtubers enjoying it, so please give a try. Greetings from Berlin 😎
