I was the person who contacted the Barnsley Chronicle a few months bk about the Tom Selleck and Worsbrough link. Pleasantly suprised that they followed up on it with the article and more indepth info on Thomas' family roots . Reading up on It also brought to life the hardships of the people working in the coal mines back in those days and of their families. Great video David. Many thanks

It took some researching. The Chronicle rung me up in the middle of the night in New Zealand in March to tell me of it-its 12 hours in front of us. There was just that bit on the internet saying that Selleck's mother had 30 ancestors killed in the Worsbrough pits. Jane Ainsworth did weeks on it -she is very good with that ancestry, Ta for your interest-
