Maybe so but the reality is we’ve been In Europe for 3 seasons in a row , won a trophy Finished 6th - 7th - 14th 2 good seasons in the league not winning nothing but getting to semi finals of europa league and 1 bad one in the league while winning something on the side We are simply a decent team and had a bad season in the league last year we will be better this year .

I fancied West ham to bounce back in the league a bit this season. Purley because when you look at moyes' record at Everton, the only other club who have really given him time. Every time he had a bit of a bum season there he always turned it round the following season and they came back stronger.

@@zanussidish5685 Good question. I like fast flowing positive football, and I find possession based teams can be a bit boring to watch. My priority is winning, and I will tolerate pretty much anything if the result is good. But as a viewer of my team my priority is that we're in the game, however we do it, so long as things are level, or even one down, there is hope, and I love that West Ham tend to stay in games.

Also I love the fast breaks, and I do enjoy seeing defensive organisation. But you are right in that it can be a bit of a tough watch seeing a team keep possession for ages, finally play a ball, then we clear it straight back to them and it starts again with boring going nowhere possession from the other side!

If you listen to interviews from players they said tht last year they tried to change the style of play and Thts the reason why they had a poor season in the league. They have went back to counter attacking football and it’s the way forward for tht team

Tom is a surface level fan, seems a top lad but he should not be on a football dicussion panel. He gets asked a question and his answers like a tweet... keeps it within 150 characters and offers zero insight or debate.

I totally agree with Mr Skinner. We don’t need Declan Rice, simply because the midfield has to run as a unit. It was too much about Rice. Moyes has been brilliant for us. I didn’t want him to leave the first time but had concerns about him last season. Look at the teams that sacked their managers too quickly, it took take time to get going again. Moyes had a good team around him and they must take some credit as well as Sullivan for sticking by him.

Ffs. Let's be realistic here. We are only 3 games in. Great start but a long way to go. Moyes is the best manager we've had in a long, long time and I'm glad he is finally getting the respect he deserves - but when we go through a rocky patch, as the season goes on. Fans will be calling for his head, again. The same fans who are saying we will compete for Champion League places, will want him sacked when we lose a couple on the bounce.

I attended West Ham under both the great Greenwood and Lyall. I’m now attending under Moyes and in my opinion, he is now third behind those two, especially after winning a trophy and a European one, at that.

I assume you were content with a relegation battle last season, five occasions in the bottom three, playing 30% possession football?
