Great and underrated artist. Sad he's no longer here. I hope he's at peace looking down all who loved him. RIP Mr.Hall.

He was The Storyteller. So many of his songs became hits because he could tell a great story. Old Dogs and Children and Watermelone Wine, and the Ballad of Forty Dollars, also Faster Horses were songs that seriously told you a story and transported you to that setting. You could picture everything.

Tom T. Hall is my favorite songwriter. Great interview with him but I can't figure out why they finished up the interview with the train wreck song by the two hillbillies at the end.

A small holding and a few Cows are the real riches as both provide foodstuffs and the cow's waste is the ideal manure to enrich the land for nutrituous Vegetables..a Pile of cow dung is far better than a pot of gold because No One will rob it and it's use brings health which is the real Wealth Very nice that he appreciated that fur looks better on the original owner of it....as does it's flesh rather than on us around our waist and rear end.
