I’m a single mom. My kids are all grown. My kids are successful and value me as a mom that taught them how to be independent. My oldest works as a physicist. My middle child is a lawyer and my youngest is an engineer and designs snowboarding parks. Research points to if a child has one supportive adult in their lives , they do just as well with two parents. I am a trauma researcher by profession. Your view on single moms is your own but I’m dang proud of myself and the single parents who raise kids that are thriving.

I did not mean to insinuate that cant come out wonderfully with one parent, but the evidence saying that kids generally function better with both parents is very extensive. It sounds like you are a perfect example that hard work pays off

You are incredible! Thank you for sharing your testimony. I have a friend & coworker whose daughter is the same age as mine- she is the most amazing and supportive mother and I admire her so much because I don’t think I could manage as well as she is. I think I’ve dealt with some shock as I got pregnant younger than her and it was unplanned (but her dad is a loving and supportive partner). My friend very much planned for her daughter then was a victim of adultery in pregnancy. There’s no 1 right way to do it or blueprint.

My daughter went to school with a girl that was raised by a single Dad. She and her 3 sisters…..they were very happy and content. He was there for everything… didn’t date until the youngest started college. They were all very little when the mother died.

❤ I raised my three children single. I asked God to bring a man to my life to be a dad to my children, he didn't send one but God was my children's other parent. My children are now 42 40 and 39. They make me proud everyday. You and Gud can do this Tom. ❤

My first husband died2001. It took me until 2012 until I met my 2nd husband. We married in 2015. When you least expect it you will meet the one. Just enjoy you and your kids till you do. Much love ❤

Oh Tom, I'm so sorry that you're having a hard time. I don't watch or comment very often on your videos now, but I feel like the Lord led me to this video today just to be an encouragement to you. I know you know these things, but sometimes we need someone on the outside to help speak the truth to our hearts. God is good even when things are hard and that's the one truth we can lean on. He has you exactly where you're supposed to be in this season. Keep focusing on your family and He'll provide what you need when you need it, be that strength as a single dad or a wife. Andrea gave you many beautiful blessings and someone will come along who will love and appreciate that as well. I'll be praying for you!

Tom has to realize we are in 2024 and being a single dad with lots of children a lot of women unfortunately don’t want to be a step mom. Times have changed unfortunately. Not hating speaking truth. I am a single mom to one child and have great difficulty finding a mate to one child.

If any of the ladies who mentioned miscarriage in the live see this. I had 2 losses then a baby then 2 losses then another baby another 2 losses. Then I was put on aspirin in pregnancy and had 7 babies in a row without another loss. I hope it helps you to.

Hi Tom, I’ve watched your channel for a long time. Just a suggestion from life lessons I’ve learned. Maybe a relationship is something you want and think you need. But, maybe just pull back. Focus on the blessings you have. Your kids, job and home. Put your everything into that. Give God the rest. Lay it all at his feet. Your needs, concerns and what you are feeling. Stay in communication with him daily. Just make memories with your babies. I have no doubt the minute you do that and redirect your wants. God will probably provide. When it’s his will from my experience it moves fast and goes smoothly. If not you will have one issue after another. So I would step back. Just a little advice from lessons I’ve learned. When you stop looking you will meet someone when you least expect it. Give yourself time to heal and don't jump straight back into another relationship, its not fair on you, them or the children. Enjoy your family and someone will come along. Your children will be just fine.

Hi Tom, I have watched your channel for many years now. Your faith in God has always been the rock holding you all together, always remember that. None of this is a suprise to Him. He doesn't need you to 'do' anything to meet someone. He already has a plan, He can organise you meeting the right person without any trouble. It's all fine to do things to try and meet the right person but realise that all the plans in the world might be different to what God had plannned. He will bring the right person into your life at exactly the right time. Try not to feel panicked about how and when this will happen and what you need to do etc. Keep trusting in Him and putting Him first always and allow His timing and perfect plan to be. You are doing an amazing job, raising your children, it's not easy. Praying God will give you all that you need to keep going each day. God bless you all.

Yeah i am sorry it happened this way for you. My hubby and i met 28 yrs so on line. Him here in the usa me in South Africa. We were married with in 13 months of writing to each other. When you know this person is for you don't have to wait 3 yrs. I feel when you are older you feel whether that person is for you sooner than if you are early twenties. I hope you met someone that will love you got you and your Beautuful kids

Hello Tom from Germany. I have watched your vlogs for long. I don't know why but i thought of you when i hear a song of my favourite music group, the kelly family. 12 siblings .6 singing together right know.They started singing in the 70ties. They have lost their mother at the age of 36 because of breastcancer. They are all true christians and believe deeply in God. The wrote a wonderful song about brother and sisters and their mother. Yes unforcantley Canada is on fire 360 current fires burning in British Columbia and a huge fire in Jasper national park in Alberta which I think where your located it would be smoke from that fire

You got to remember too that over age of 35yrs is high risk for woman & prgnancy..plus women are born with all the eggs they will have and the older you get the chances for a healthy natural pregnancy decrease drastically every year.

Hello Tom, I am a new sub. Love your videos. I want to sincerely say that I am sorry for your loss. I can relate as I lost the ones I truly loved through divorce. not once but twice..It is so painful to lose the ones you truly love whether from divorce or from loss. I would love to date you but I live a bit far away across the country in USA Philly, PA. My daughter lives in Yellowstone County in Billings, MT. I do go in your direction when I drive to Montana. I pass by Wyoming to visit her. I am willing to relocate as I love it out West and the beauty that comes with it. I love nature!! I have been divorced and single since 2016. I have 2 grown beautiful daughters that I raised. I am open to having kids or other partner that already has kids. I love kids. Your kids are adorable. Although, I medically can not have anymore of my own. I have a wonderful career and education in Human and Social Services that I can work for any county across the US. I also have a degree in IT Tech .. I could even help you fix PCs and any Microsoft infrastructures! I am a good faithful honest good Christian woman that has good morals. I love my daughters unconditionally and raised them to good women and mothers! I have 2 grandsons 6 yrs and a 17 yr old by each daughter. I just never found a decent man that is honest and who wouldn't give up on me after a 10 yr marriage. I was married twice. First marriage ended in a bad domestic violence that I had to get sole custody of my daughter to keep her away from her father from danger. I was not married to the right men. Second marriage he was decent and a good marriage but he gave up on me his job and left the state after 10yrs. I would love to meet ya sometime if the distance is not a factor for you. Or maybe the next time I go to Montana to visit my daughter. I took the time to heal and find myself again although it would be nice to have true love in my life. Someone who really loves me to share life with and to be happy with.. It is the simple small things that I miss being with a man. I love music and going to concerts! I was raised with musicians by my father. I am loving caring person with a big heart that has a great sense of humor. Anyway, it is nice to meet you. You have beautiful precious children! looking forward to seeing more videos! I think you are going to have to be more open minded. You want some one to move to your house and step in and carry on, your way. A stay home wife likes her own kitchen and home that she reigns in, and it would give her more confidence to have you move to her. Why can’t you consider moving? Have you prayed about it and opened your heart to that?

I think the number 1 problem here is that Andrea was and is such a beautiful jewel.. A treasure! But you have done the 5 year healing time . The woman coming in, it would seem could be very intimidated following someone like Andrea...I'm hoping and praying you'll find someone quickly. hopefully you will discuss each partners expectations...There are rare single women, that won't have sex before marriage.. This what God expects...I was very pretty so men endured it, but it was a tiring struggle....A woman that's not so pretty may be left sitting on the shelf, if she won't compromise.
