Even tho tibs led the Knicks the furthest they been in long time, I just don’t understand how his approach with his best players hasn’t changed with all the playoff letdowns. Sure having the best players on the floor when it matters most sounds like a good idea. Look at Chicago. Drose was an injury I won’t fully attribute to that . Some of those chi lebron battles show how tibs overrelied on their starters and when game 6 7 came around in multiple series , what happened? The exact same thing happened to your knicks this season. Sure knicks had injuries entering and went further than I expected. What happened end of ecf? Seems familiar.

@@Michael-vn2jjthe whole point of that paragraph is tibs has done this multiple seasons not just this season when his team had numerous injuries. Hopefully it won’t be another 30 years til u see a finals appearance again and maybe that will come to adjustments he makes with minute wise. It’s why teams like San Antonio Miami are competitive every year they embrace their depth .

@@user-hz2yx4ts4q lmao when did I ever say I was a Knicks fan? I literally just made a comment about Thibs. IDC about the Knicks. .. His teams used to practice too much, they don't anymore. Hmmm why would a coach play his better players longer so he doesn’t have to put in the worse players…. I can’t think of one reason why that would be beneficial 😂. It’s not that unique of an idea. It’s unique to find players willing to do it.

Thibs runs his best players into the ground. That’s why Jimmy Butler doesn’t want to play for him again. You can give Thibs a rotation such as the Celtics have and he would still play six or seven. That’s his mentality. You can’t win championships that way.

@@cam0x195 that’s how middle of the road coaches coach middle of the road teams. Championship coaches coach to win championships not for seeding. The Celtics are the example. That organization saw what they have and built around that. That is Tatum and Brown. You would think the Knicks would have sense to do that but they don’t. Instead they stick with Thibs and make stupid moves. The same old Knicks.
