I was eleven years old bumping "Genius" on a generic type walkman heading to LA on a church group tour bus. "Wordy" takes me back to the partying we did at The Sea Ranch, CA when parents were out. Oh the memories!

So happy that Julie and I were able to see Tom Tom Club live once in our lifetimes. Chris had a huge smile the entire time. Tina n the band kept it hopping in spite of very windy conditions. Their love of music was palpable.

Wow, they bring a bit of a flamenco touch to those first two numbers! It's wild to hear the acoustic guitar, accordion, washboard, hand clapping, and reggae scat--but strangely right. Love it!
