Turn 6 was wrong, it's not that bumpy in real life and you had to lift quite a lot through there(209 kph apex speed) while in yesterday's qualy the apex speed was like 235/240 kph. Also in the penultimate corner you had a much lower apex speed(182 kph) compared to real life(215 kph), and to me it seemed that the car wasn't really agile in the low speed. I think the track wasn't 100% accurate and the car in the mod wasn't completely realistic.

@@vamositalia4600 tbf the initial scan is from the ACC America dlc. The scan was done in 2021 I think when the track was very bumpy and obviously a lot of work has been done to the track since then

I wanted to try this Mod, there's some great Mods out there that are legit and great quality that aren't VRC or pay. Not everyone has money to pay for mods so I'm showing an alternative or cheaper ones.

I feel like this track and a lot of other tracks do not account for the extra grip a repaved surface gives you. And also this track was literally just repaved irl, You usually gain around 3% of grip which is a lot. I would say you lost at least 1.2 seconds around the lap. And just for example of how extreme lap times can drop, its not an f1 example but there's still relevance. The GTP pole time at Laguna Seca in 2023 was 1:14.774. 2024 the track was repaved. Pole time was a 1:12.445. The cars probably were faster due to car upgrades, but i dont think tuning and car upgrades are giving you 2.3 seconds, around a small track like this alone in one year especially due to how regulated FIA Hypercars are.

Just a constructive comment: I feel like you are pressing the brakes too hard and releasing too quickly, which as you experienced upsets the car's balance like nothing else (except going full speed into a sausage kerb), here's an example 13:23 . I'd say you are also braking a bit too late but it depends on each driver's driving style. Try to aim for 85-90% brake pressure instead of 100%, which should only happen when you miss your braking point, then slowly release the brakes; the slower the corner your approaching, the more slowly your should release for best turn in and stability. You should be off the brakes when you hit (or slightly later but not mid corner) the apex for medium speed corners and at mid apex for low speed corners. Trail braking! If you put whatever I just wrote into effect it should improve your lap times by at least a few tenths 👍
